Job Description :
- Implement components of patient care and collect data related to the treatments provided.
- Collaborate with the physical therapist to modify care as necessary.
- Assist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to those at the end of life.
- Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups.
- Read and follow instructions from the physical therapist.
- Work directly with the physical therapist to assist patients.
- Communicate with families to determine the best at-home techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in physical therapy spaces.
- Assist in moving patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing paperwork.
- Educate patients on techniques like balance training.
