Job Overview :
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our physical therapy team in delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages, from newborns to individuals in the later stages of life. As a PTA, you will collaborate closely with physical therapists to implement treatment plans, provide hands-on care, and help patients improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist patients with stretching and exercise to target specific muscle groups.
- Follow instructions and treatment plans provided by the physical therapist.
- Work directly with the physical therapist to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate and guide families on at-home exercises and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized physical therapy environment.
- Safely transfer patients from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy areas.
- Complete administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling and filing paperwork.
- Teach patients balance training and other therapeutic techniques to improve mobility.
