As an Unlicensed Masters Mental Health Therapist (Postmaster Resident) at Aspen Ridge Mental Health, the primary responsibility is to provide excellent, compassionate, expert care for clients. Postmaster Residents will provide therapy services for clients with general mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and relational concerns. Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and timely for oneself.

Postmaster residents will receive weekly individual supervision, bimonthly group supervision and didactics on psychotherapy and eating disorders to further their education and specialities. The Postmaster Residency position is designed to prepare individuals for licensure in the state of Colorado.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, marital, family, and/or group therapy to clients in accordance with weekly caseload requirements (25 for full time employees)
• Option to attend weekly group and individual supervision and didactic lectures (no cost to you!)
  • First year post graduates have opportunity to receive weekly supervision
  • Second year post graduates have opportunity to receive bi-weekly supervision
• Collaborate with various clinicians and providers to aid in client care
• Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented patient records with a quality of documentation that meets facility and licensing standards

• Provide services 2 evenings per week (5pm or after)
• Work a minimum of 30 hours per week to maintain full-time status
• Example Schedule:
  • 80% of time spent providing individual, couples and/or family therapy
  • 10% of time dedicated to administrative support including client documentation, coordination of care

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited program in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, clinical mental health, social work, or another applicable field
• Must reside in the state you are offering services - Colorado
• Have remote work environment that is HIPAA compliant (if hybrid)
• Strong computer skills, preference for experience with Google Suite and Simple Practice platforms

Compensation:

Employees are paid hourly for each service provided. Clinicians are also paid when a client late cancels or no-shows (medicaid exceptions apply). Clinicians are able to bill for additional administrative time including note writing, supervision provided and received, coordination of care and team meetings. Our pay structure is broken down into max and base rate pay. Max rate can be billed for client services (therapy & assessment) and supervision provided. Base rate can be billed for attending didactics and trainings, group and individual supervision received, note writing, coordination of care, and team meetings. The bulk of your pay comes from seeing clients which is standard in private practice.

Private/Group Practice:

At ARMH we find that clinicians invest more in our culture and mission if they focus on solely working with us for outpatient client services. Therefore, during employment with us, we ask that our employees do not work at their own or other's group/private practices.

Supervision:

ARMH is actively hiring LCSW providers to ensure that we can continue to hire MSW/LSW candidates who are seeking LCSW licensure. At this time we are limited on the number of MSW/LSW candidates we can accept due to supervision restrictions.
