What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Rehab Therapist position at Aspen Valley Hospital?
We are currently hiring for a PRN Cardiac Rehabilitation Therapist to work within our Cardiac Rehabilitation Department.
Compensation Range:
$44.05 - $70.47 per hour
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Exercise Physiology preferred
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date, preferred
- Experience with EPIC preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:
The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Therapist will have expertise in bothcardiac and pulmonary areas and may be registered nurse, respiratory therapist or exercisephysiologist. This role will integrate the components of clinician, teacher,consultant and researcher.
