What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Care Assistant & QMAP position at Aspen Valley Hospital?
We are currently hiring for a Half-Time Resident Care Assistant and QMAP to work rotating shift within our Whitcomb Terrace.
Compensation Range:
$21.62 - 34.59 per hour
Non Exempt
Sign on Bonus of $1,000
Night and weekend shift differentials up to $6 per hour!
Compensation package is based on your specific qualifications for the role.
Requirements:
- Current driver license, or ability to obtain prior to start date, with minimum 3 years of driving experience and acceptable MVR.
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP). May be obtained upon hire.
Position Overview:
As a Resident Care Assistant and Qualified Medication Administration Person(QMAP) in our senior living community, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and personalized assistance to our residents. You will support them in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet their needs and provide a sense of comfort, companionship, independence, and belonging. Support services include activities such as medication administration, assistance with tasks of daily living, meal service, wellness programs, appointments, and light housekeeping . In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You will monitor and report any changes in residents' health status to the nursing team, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Your ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families will be essential in creating a supportive and nurturing environment.
