What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trauma Program Coordinator position at Aspen Valley Hospital?
We are currently hiring for a Full-Time TRAUMA PROGRAM COORDINATOR to work day shift within our Trauma Program.
Compensation Range:
$37.74 - 60.38 per hour
Non Exempt
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- At least two years of experience as an Emergency Department RN OR
- Previous trauma registrar experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Emergency Nurses Association - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), or ability to obtain within two years of start date

Position Overview:
The Trauma Program Coordinator participates in the multidisciplinary approach to the care of the traumatically injured patient and collaborates with the Trauma Program Manager (TPM) and Trauma Medical Director (TMD) to maintain a Colorado State Level III Trauma Center Designation. The TNC contributes to the Trauma Service by identification of injured patients as defined in State of Colorado Trauma Inclusion Criteria, maintains the trauma data registry, and provides statistical reports. Actively participates in the quality improvement process.
