Job Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our concrete crew. Your tasks will include ensuring the proper setup, pouring, and finishing of concrete for projects such as curbs, gutters, flatwork. Effective communication with the crew and close coordination with managers and sub-contractors will be essential for ensuring efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and interpret construction plans to facilitate seamless operations.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding and enforce safety policies and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Engage in daily communications with managers, sub-contractors, and Project Managers to ensure smooth coordination.
- Manage the concrete crew, ensuring adherence to Asphalt Contractors' high-quality standards consistently.
- Demonstrate dedication by working the necessary hours to complete projects in a timely manner while upholding top-notch quality.
Job Qualifications:
- Bilingual a plus.
- Previous experience as a concrete superintendent, foreman, or operator is preferred.
- Experience overseeing curb and gutter work is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
