Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Outbound Sales Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will not only focus on building client relationships and closing sales but also play a pivotal role in estimating and bidding on municipal work. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, navigating government procurement processes, and winning contracts to drive our company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to promote our products/services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with municipalities and government agencies.
- Research and analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other bid opportunities.
- Prepare and submit accurate estimates and competitive bids for municipal projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and key decision-makers.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and performance targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, bids, and client interactions in our CRM.
- Stay informed on industry trends, government regulations, and our offerings to effectively address client needs.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to refine strategies and improve success rates.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outbound sales, estimating, or a similar role (experience in municipal or government bidding is a plus).
- Familiarity with government procurement processes, RFPs, and bid preparation.
- Strong analytical skills to assess bid requirements and develop accurate estimates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilience and determination to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales software.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,047.00 - $55,010.00 per year
