About the role
The Human Resources Benefits Administrator plays a dual role in supporting the HR department by managing day-to-day HR operations while specializing in the administration of employee benefits programs. This position ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, supports employees with benefits-related inquiries, and contributes to the overall effectiveness of HR functions.
What you'll do
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), FSA, and other voluntary benefits.
- Manage open enrollment processes, including communication, plan selection, and employee education.
- Serve as the primary contact for benefits providers, brokers, and employees regarding benefits-related issues or inquiries.
- Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely manner.
- Conduct audits to ensure data accuracy in payroll and benefits systems.
- Oversee COBRA administration, ensuring timely notifications and compliance.
- Educate employees on plan options, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes.
- Monitor compliance with applicable regulations such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
