Job Title: SAP Manufacturing / PP Consultant
Location: North West Suburbs of Chicago, IL (3days onsite 2 days remote)
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the SAP S/4 Manufacturing Product team responsible for the Plan to Produce process, including MM, PP and EWM modules. Activities include leading the operational support, enhancements, and release management of the S/4 Manufacturing systems. Must have a strong knowledge of discreet, process, and repetitive manufacturing processes, preferably in the medical device/healthcare industry.
The challenging responsibilities of the position include:
- Understand client business processes in Manufacturing, Supply chain and related areas
- Support, architect, design and help with requirements elicitation in MM & PP modules within SAP S/4 and ECC systems
- Contribute to best practices in architecting, designing & supporting ECC SCM applications
- Collaboration on projects with end-users & team members
- Gather and document functional/business requirements from users & sponsors
- Author & communicate business process design (BPD), business systems design (BSD) and system test plans
- Schedule & perform BSD walk-through with development team and end users
- Support the development of team members during detailed design & coding phase
- String & system integration test execution
- Rollout & Production support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related
- At least 8 years total SAP systems experience implementing S/4 and ECC manufacturing solutions
- Strong functional and business knowledge in different SAP MM & PP modules
- Basic knowledge of EDI functions and use
- Strong integration point knowledge with APO, SD, LO and FI modules
- Experienced with SAP MM & PP master data
- Experienced with labelling software such as OpenText Document Presentment
- Experience with SQL or other Data Analytical tools a plus
- Previous development experience a plus
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize & balance multiple projects/priorities
- Experience with FDA, global trade compliance practices and import procedures a plus
- Must be self-motivated with capability to work independently
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
