WHO ARE WE?
Aspire Learning Center is an integrated Early Childhood ABA program that provides a unique opportunity for neurodivergent and neurotypical children to learn and grow alongside each other, with a main focus of teaching children with autism. During our Early Childhood Program we provide academic and ABA services to children from 18 months – 7 years old. During our Afternoon or “after school” program, we provide services to children up to 15 years of age.
WHAT WILL I DO AS A TEACHER AT ASPIRE LEARNING CENTER?
You will be responsible for providing coordination and leadership within the Early Childhood Program at Aspire Learning Center (i.e., from the hours of 8a-3p). You will work with your colleagues and supervisors to ensure curriculum is age-appropriated, individualized, and aims to increase skills across all domain areas.
All of your job functions will be supported by an applied behavior analytic treatment environment and methodology. Your classroom will be supported by 2 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) who will work collaboratively with you to support the integrated environment. Children in your room diagnosed with autism will be supported by Behavior Technicians.
Other responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with BCBAs on individual client needs (i.e., curriculum and schedule modification)
- Delegate and supervise the responsibilities of your Early Education Program Assistant
- Directly support neurotypical peer models within the classroom. Children diagnosed with ASD are supported by a Behavior Technician and BCBA.
- Deliver one-to-one, small group, and large group instruction
- Evaluate client performance to inform on-going instruction and recommendations
- Write clear and objective comprehensive progress reports
- Maintain open channels of communication with all caregivers
- Deliver progress reports on a predetermined schedule
- Participate in weekly team meetings with all Teachers and BCBAs
- Participate in weekly 1:1 meeting with your direct supervisor
WHAT DOES ONBOARDING AND TRAINING LOOK LIKE?
The first two weeks of your time at Aspire Learning Center will be spent in Onboarding and Training to help you feel equipped to confidently be a Teacher at Aspire Learning Center. Training will occur across various modes such as lecture, live and video models, roleplays, meetings, observations, etc.
AM I QUALIFIED?
· A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred
· Experience with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder preferred

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
