What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA Class Instructor (RN) position at Aspire Transitional Care?
The Peaks, A Senior Living Community & Aspire Transitional Care are teaming up to bring a fully accredited CNA program to the Flagstaff area! With this new development, we are seeking an RN to act as an instructor to assist in assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing educational in-services for these two beautiful communities.
IMPORTANT NOTE : We are incredibly flexible and more than willing to discuss either full or part-time employment options as well as a contracted educator. This role will provide flexibility and autonomy to the dedicated and enthusiastic educator that will join our team. Whether you are a nurse that is looking to launch into a full time career of educating aspiring CNAs year round or maybe you are looking for a part-time gig where you can make a difference during certain times of the year on a per diem basis, we want to talk to you!

Training Functions
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel, and the general public. Must be able to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility. Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, residents, and families.
Education and Experience
Successful completion of a three semester credit course on adult teaching and learning concepts offered by an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
Licensing / Certifications
Must possess a current and active license to practice as an RN in this state.
