Position: Data Architect/Data Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA, Irving, TX, and Tampa, FL (Only Local Candidates)
Duration: 12-30 Months contract

Targeted Years of Experience : 5-7 years

Manager Notes:
"I really need people with the following skills and experience. These are not negotiable.
Experience working with Google Big Query (Google Cloud Platform) migrations and schemas
Experience working with Google Looker, specifically LookML
Experience with on-prem to cloud database migrations (would be a big plus if they knew about or worked on Teradata systems but not required)
Ultimately, the person I'm looking for will be helping to architect new data products and assist with the migration of existing data products from Teradata to Google Cloud Platform. We also need them to understand the Looker product as we'll be leveraging that tool for our semantic layer.

Responsibilities
Experience with Big Data technologies and ecosystem, data modeling tools
Experience with Project / Process management
Experience writing technical documentation
Familiarity with core data concepts (e.g. data lakes, data warehousing) and experience building data catalogs/dictionaries with business glossaries
Familiarity with cloud / distributed computing and storage concepts and technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong process management
Design data models and schemas that can fit multiple business use cases leveraged by multiple core technical stacks
Define and implement data accuracy across product portfolio
