Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Raritan, NJ (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in ABAP 7.x, ABAP on HANA, and various development tools for a long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ABAP code adhering to ABAP 7.x coding standards.

Create and enhance ABAP CDS views, leveraging UI5 annotations, OData, REST/JSON, and XML (including debugging).

Work with CDS frameworks using the ABAP Programming Model for SAP Fiori (CAP-Cloud Application Programming Model & RAP-RESTful ABAP Application Programming Model).

Integrate systems using BAPI, RFC, IDOC, WSDL, PI Proxies, and OData REST APIs.

Hands-on development of RICEF objects, both in ABAP on HANA and Core ABAP.

Strong experience in ABAP OO and performance tuning.

Implement enhancements using BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Spots.

Debug, analyze, and optimize standard objects for better performance.

Utilize tools like Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Studio (Eclipse), and GIT for development.

Experience with S/4 HANA Extensibility Frameworks and techniques.

Develop Fiori freestyle applications and work with RAP developments.
Required Skills:

Deep ABAP development knowledge, including ABAP on HANA and ABAP OO.

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and runtime analysis skills.

Experience with Fiori app development and S/4 HANA extensibility techniques.
