Aspirus in Duluth, MN is seeking a VP - Finance MN Region to join the team!
Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Vice President of Finance / CFO, provides development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of policies on finance, accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, cost management, internal controls, accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll for the Aspirus System and more specifically Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Inc. He / She will provide leadership and organizational direction to the Fiscal Services Department and functions as assigned. He / She actively participates in the overall management of Aspirus, Inc. and its subsidiaries and more specifically Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Inc. He / She maintains a dotted-line reporting relationship to the President of Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Inc.
Experience / Qualifications
- Knowledge of hospital management and policy administration, as well as development and implementation of budgets, financial strategies and standards normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Finance; or a Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field. If Bachelor's Degree, FHFMA required.
- Eight to ten years' experience in healthcare financial management along with four to five years of management experience in the healthcare field is essential.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) desired.
- Master's Degree desired.
