Aspirus Family Health Specialists in Wausau, WI is seeking a Medical Assistant - PM Shift to join our Family Health Specialists team!
The Medical Assistant assists in the delivery of health care to patients including maintenance of clinical record/documentation. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for medical staff. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with clinic policies and the strict observance of confidentiality of patient information.
HOURS: Full time or 1.0 FTE; 80 hours bi-weekly
Experience/Qualification:
- Assisting in the delivery of outpatient clinic health care
- Answer phones, returning phone calls, crisis triage
- Paperwork processing for schools, human services, etc.
- Prior authorizations of medications
- Rooming patients
- Maintaining clinical records and documentation
