Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a SUPERVISOR - ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES to join our HOUSEKEEPING team!
The Supervisor of Environmental Services provides supervision and direction to EVS staff to establish a strong, well-functioning department. The Supervisor works in collaboration with departments across the organization to serve the customer's needs to ensure a clean and bacteriological safe and environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Experience/Qualifications
- Required knowledge of house keeping standards, practices, regulations, and codes normally acquired through completion of an associates degree in hospitality services, hotel/restaurant management, or a related field.
- Associates degree in applicable field preferred.
- Required 1-3 years supervisory experience in related field.
- Preferred 1-3 years supervisory experience in healthcare.
- Successful in developing collaborative working relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commitment to excellence and best practice.
- Able to deal successfully with conflict and difficult issues.
- Manage resources effectively.
- Working knowledge of email Word, Excel, Outlook, and supervisory applications.
