100% FTE, night shift, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 11:00PM – 7:30AM, with rotating on-call weekends. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to:
Help make an impact on patient care by leading our remarkable Environmental Services team as they play a critical role in preventing infection.
Plan, direct and assign the work to be completed by the environmental services technicians, seniors and environmental services floor care technicians.
Document completion of work through daily productivity reports.
Complete inspections, rounding, documentation and regular meetings with other departments to ensure quality of work.

Education :
Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree.
Work Experience :
Minimum – Two (2) years previous supervisory or lead role experience in a large organization.
Preferred – Five (5) years previous supervisory experience at an acute health care facility.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – Hazardous waste awareness certificate – must obtain within first year of hire.
If required to driving a company vehicle, the following requirements apply:
Must be 21 years of age to drive a UW Health Fleet vehicle and must be 25 years of age to drive a UW Health vehicle rates for 15 or more passengers.
Ability to be insured by Hospital’s risk management insurer which requires (1) a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and (2) successfully passing a driving background check.
