Electrical Engineer

Description
An Associate Engineer with Asplundh Engineering Services (AES) collaborates on a team to complete engineering tasks and craft custom solutions that meet customer needs. To excel in this role, one must demonstrate adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving industry. An ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and planning skills, excelling in a team-based environment. All tasks should be approached with a detail-oriented mindset, coupled with a sense of ownership over deliverables.
Key Responsibilities

• Creating Protection & Control settings designs as part of a larger engineering team.
• Performing protection studies and analyses to develop basis documents and relay setting files.
• Creating HMI (Human-Machine Interface) settings.
• Designing and creating Automation & Integration settings.
• Designing and configuring operating characteristics of managed switches and LANs.
• Reviewing current industry best practices to ensure compliance with cyber security requirements.
• Performing entry-level engineering roles in design aspects of projects and assisting other engineers.
• Providing on-site engineering support when needed.

Education & Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of basic engineering theory, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
