Description
Asplundh Engineering & Asplundh Construction, LLC (ACL) are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer, PE to join our team. This role involves a combination of engineering and project management responsibilities, with a focus on substation, electric, and civil projects. The successful candidate will work across various locations within our service territories with a primary focus in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic and report to ACL.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Estimating : Substation, electric, and civil projects.
- Training and Support : Standardize estimating approaches and train the existing team.
- Database Management : Organize and maintain a database of man hours, equipment prices, and labor costs.
- Vendor and Sub-Contractor Coordination : Collaborate with managers to identify sub-contractors and material vendors, especially for EPC projects.
- Bid Review Participation : Participate in bid review calls for both ACC level and corporate reviews.
- Project Management : Manage substation projects and other EPC / specialized disciplines.
- Technical and Administrative Support : Provide support to Project Managers and Region Managers.
- Technical SME : Serve as a subject matter expert for proposals, customer interviews, and new business solicitations.
- EPC Liaison : Act as a liaison for EPC projects.
- Licensing : Manage state and various licensing requirements.
- CADD Support : Provide support for as-builts, survey documentation, design, etc.
- Provide PE stamps on drawings .
- Environmental Compliance : Support civil groups and safety teams with project-specific environmental compliance.
