Senior Electrical Engineer R&D - South Minneapolis Metro Medical Device - Permanent up to 150k base DOE 7.5% bonus (Relocation Package) - No Visa Sponsorship
Please see the below requirements for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a medical device OEM in the South Minneapolis area. This organization is developing complex electromechanical capital systems used in OR's, and there's an active need for a lead electrical designer to work in a cross-functional R&D group to develop products to customer and stakeholder requirements. Main tasks for this individual contributor include leading circuit board analysis/design/development, product prototyping, evaluating electrical components, assessing and testing to safety standards etc. This opportunity provides exposure to products in a preclinical and clinical setting. This is an onsite role with flexibility to wfh as needed. They are offering relocation to candidates outside of Minnesota and they cannot provide visa sponsorship.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 5 years of experience in electromechanical medical device (or other government regulated environment) design and development - good documentation practices in regulated environments
- Demonstrated experience in digital & analog circuit board design and analysis - schematic capture and board layout (Altium preferred)
Experience in Electrophysiology and/or RF is preferred
- Must be a strong communicator
