About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Director - Cane Sugar Refinery to direct sugar production operations on shift, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices and safe operating procedures are followed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial food manufacturing/production and supervising union employees. Experience with computer, PLC programming, mechanical troubleshooting, and management supervisory skills is preferred.
- Directing teams of specialized union employees to meet or exceed production targets, quality standards, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Conducting regular shift meetings regarding safety, production, quality and other important information.
- Ensuring quality of finished products by adhering to company policies, procedures and specifications.
