ASR International is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to work on an exciting and fulfilling project supporting the U.S. Air Force Military & Family Readiness Center at Minot AFB. Responsibilities
- Provides administrative assistance support to the US Air Force Military & Family Readiness Center, including Transition Assistance Program (TAP) data entry and front desk support, to the Minot Air Force Base in Minot, North Dakota.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Word a must, including knowledge of basic Excel macro creation.
- Creates, edits and reviews correspondence, memos and forms, assists with developing training aids, develops reports and identifies and solves problems with existing procedures.
- Creates graphics and other presentation and data materials, and composes non-technical correspondence.
- Provides basic troubleshooting for system and software for co-workers.
- Reviews and processes incoming publications, directives, regulations and materials, including proofreading and noting corrections.
- Answers telephone calls, greets visitors, and refers them to appropriate staff.
- Establishes and maintains office records using automated systems as primary Record Custodian and requisitions office supplies and related services.
- Provides data entry and basic clerical duties including scheduling and records management.
- Similar experience working in a military environment, Air Force preferred.
- Working knowledge of military dynamics and organizational management.
- Knowledge of AFFIRST and TAP ACCESS database systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access and Excel programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using tact and courtesy.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with AF terminology is preferred.
- Pre-employment background check mandatory. You must have the ability to pass a back ground check with inquiries (NACI).
- You must have reliable transportation.
- You must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check.
