ASR International Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Logistician – TSRA / Combat Systems Assessment position working as part of our team providing technical support for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Code 275 Submarine Hull Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Systems and Submarine Assessment Support.
Scope of Code 275 support to be provided includes Submarine Continuous Operational and Maintenance Assessment (SubCOMA), Post-Deployment Maintainability Assessment (PDMA), Combat Systems Assessment (CSA) and System of Systems Interoperability, Mission Area Assessment (SOSIMAA) / TSRA Assessment, Groton STSC CSA / SOSIMAA Assessment, FTA- Maintenance Support (Ships’ Service Electrical), FTA - Maintenance Support (IC) Electrical, Logistics, and On board TSRA / CSA Logistics.
Location / Place of Performance : MARMC – Naval Station Norfolk – Norfolk, VA 23511 (telework opportunities are a possibility) Job Description / Responsibilities :
- Provide on-board logistical assistance in support of TSRA Assessment Directors or Coordinators. Estimated six TSRA events per year approximately 12-15 days per event.
- Conduct parts research and research of free issue items and assets including items available in the PEB.
- Resolve any logistics discrepancies. Upline logistics information to the ship via OMMS-NG.
- Generate reports including but not limited to MAF generation reports and final Logistics Reports.
- Generate logistic audit documentation as part of the CSA Plan using the most up to date configuration information available. Maintain, update, and research redlines from completed logistic audits. Research COSALs for proper APLs. Must have at least 80% accuracy with initial documentation. Provide audit documentation to the Assessment Director for incorporation into the Combat Systems Assessment Plan (CSAP).
- Provide on-board logistical assistance in support of CSAs and other logistics related audits such as inspections, assessments, and database reviews. Resolve discrepancies and provide reports. Estimate six CSA events per year, approximately 12 days per event.
