SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Lead.
Requirements
- Shall possess at least three (3) years of recent (within the past 10 years) responsible experience in the supervision of complex commercial and institutional facilities involving facility operations and maintenance.
- Should have demonstrated skills and knowledge in planning for and establishing the supervision and structural organization needed to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Shall have proficiency in oral and written communications in English.
- Shall have basic computer skills to include the ability to input data into the system and generate various reports and correspondence as required.
- Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed in accordance with code requirements.
- Excellent supervisory and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 65 pounds at a time.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and staff.
- Leads field operations and performs maintenance tasks daily, as needed.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
- Assess building systems Preventative Maintenance Schedules to plan work assignments and routine project schedules.
- Inspects job quality of all employee assigned tasks.
- Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
