ASRC Research and Technology Solutions (ARTS) is seeking a Scrum Master to support the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Unified Cyber Situational Awareness (UCSA) program located in Pensacola, FL. The ideal candidate will have one or more active certifications : Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM). We are looking for a servant leader who champions the champions the Agile mindset through effective guidance, coaching, education, and removal of impediments to team progress. This role is responsible for building high-performing teams focused on constantly improving team dynamics and performance. Supports the Release Train Engineer role as needed.
Responsibilities :
- Fulfill the role of the Scrum Master by leading Agile teams in the delivery of business-critical requirements.
- Report on Program Increment status to provide leadership a clear view of progress toward committed goals.
- Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint / iteration planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, backlog refinements, and other ceremonies as they apply to the teams and train the teams on Agile practices and procedures.
- Track and communicate Agile metrics.
- Ensure the Scrum Framework is implemented effectively by providing coaching and mentoring at the team level to maximize its benefits.
- Assist with making appropriate commitments to deliver business value through story selection, definition of tasks, and estimation.
- Periodic travel may be required.
