What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Project/Program Manager position at ASRC Federal?
We are currently seeking a Program Manager to work onsite in Augusta, GA. The Program Manager shall perform the following:
Create Project Management weekly status reports, create balanced scorecard, coordinate and plan meetings, including documenting meeting discussions and action items
Day-to-day oversight of Contractor personnel and SOO performance. The PM shall have full authority to make all commitments and decisions for all elements of the project.
Proactively address all client concerns to the best of their ability.
Operate consistent with company values, ethics, policies, procedures, and guidelines
Manage program risk and communicate accordingly with senior leadership within ASRC Federal
Provide mentorship to subordinates and take time to work with staff on performance feedback, career growth, and retention activities.
Work collaboratively with ASRC Federal colleagues on intercompany initiatives, growth-oriented activities, and strategy development.
Provide a Concept of Operations which includes a roles and responsibility matrix and processes and management controls.
Report key performance indicators (KPIs) when required by government client.
Monitor and vendor IT hardware and software End-of-Life/End-of-Support (EoL/EoS) dates for products in preparation for next-gen product procurement and implementation as well as disposition of items projected for EoL/EoS.
Serve as the Contractor’s primary contact for the Government personnel.
Conduct conflict resolution and cross-functional management & communication with teams as required.
Ensure that all necessary operational personnel are available on call for standard working hours and during non‐working hours to meet emergent requirements.
Track and manage overall project status so that project milestones are met and that change activity is properly documented
Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items
Requirements
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
ITIL 4 Foundation
Four (4) years of progressive experience managing large IT service contracts.
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
Must have at least a Secret level clearance.
Must have experience managing Tier 1 through 3 help desk contracts with 50 staff located geographically across the continental United States
Must have experience building relationships with government stakeholders, software vendors, and internal senior leadership
Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
