ASRC Federal Highland Technology is actively seeking a Technical Writer to join our team. The selected candidate will support a government client in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Position Description : As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to develop, maintain, and refine help documentation that supports end-users. You will collaborate with the Tech Docs Lead on initiatives to improve help content, so that it better meets users’ needs. This position, and the teams you will be working with, are 100% remote. If you are passionate about delivering written content that improves the user’s experience, we would like to speak to you.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, computer science, or another technical field. 7 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree would be acceptable.
- Experience : 3–5 years of technical writing experience in a software development environment, writing enterprise-level end-user documentation.
- Communication skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Technical aptitude : Ability to quickly come up to speed in new technical domains.
Preferred Skills :
The successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.
U.S. Citizen or H1B Visa or Green Card holder with 3 year consistent residency.
