Position Summary:
As a Team Leader you must be responsible, punctual, and motivated to coordinate the activities of assemblers engaged in producing hinge assemblies for windows. You must be detail oriented and organized with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and computer skills. You must display proper interpersonal skills and conduct yourself in a professional manner as you set the example for the team to follow you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction & leadership to production staff on the 4BAR Assembly line. Including promoting safety in everything we do and partnering with the site EHS Coordinator when concerns, or accidents occur.
- Manage the performance of the team by communicating appropriately with the 4BAR Supervisor about any deviations staff may have to schedules so behavior can be tracked appropriately.
- Provide assistance on the screening of candidates by aiding the supervisors in performing Tours of the facility when needed and providing HR with appropriate feedback.
- Ensure the team is aligned with all goals, and the accomplishing of those goals and communicating when employee(s) may be under performing with the 4BAR Supervisor.
- Assist in the training process of a new employee in any area as needed.
- Demonstrate Leadership ability to the team by planning and delegating work in advance and responding appropriately throughout the day when any changes in attendance should change the plan.
- Ensures quality parts are produced and delivered on time to meet customer specifications
- Partner with the Supervisor on daily staffing or future staffing needs or concerns.
- Consistently monitor machinery, processes, and work cell layouts to recommend improvements that may yield increases in profit and quality levels while decreasing potential safety hazards.
- Other duties as assigned by 4BAR Supervisor
- Ensures all production is entered correctly at the end of each working shift

Education & Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a lead in a manufacturing setting/or equivalent commensurate practice
- Some college in manufacturing discipline is preferred
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
