Standard Hours: Monday - Thursday; 3:30pm - 2:00am
Position Summary
Assists Production Supervisor and Production Manager in meeting all customer orders within the molding department areas. Train and cross train employees along with the ability to operate any machine.
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities
- Monitors the manufacturing activities in molding area.
- Ensure that the production is maintained in accordance with the time schedules, quality standards and employee safety
- Ability to teach, guide and communicate with others.
- Interact effectively with various levels of professionals in the organization effectively.
- Good written communication, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve any processing issues
- Interpret safety guidelines and policies of organization to workers.
- Communicate with Engineering/QC about quality or product related items.
- Ability to directly set up, adjust specification of various machines.
- Performs multiple machine operation and assist other operators and production personnel effectively.
- Operate all material handling equipment both manual and powered.
- Use gauges and measuring instruments and perform quality inspection on all parts and components.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Recognizes equipment malfunction and report to supervision.
- Maintains neat and orderly work areas and equipment.
- Must always wear proper PPE and conform to all safety rules and regulations
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous Group Leader or Supervisory experience, preferred
- Good mechanical skills
- Ability to foresee changes relevant to area of responsibility
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
- Ability to be organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic Computer skills
- Must be able to lift, push or pull minimum of 50 lbs
