The ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas Division implements and maintains Oracle’s J.D. Edwards (JDE) E1 9.2 ERP applications. We are currently rolling out JDE across all business units in North, Central, and South America. To support this, we are expanding our JD Edwards team and looking to hire a Business Analyst (BA).
This full-time position is based on-site at ASSA ABLOY Americas corporate headquarters in New Haven, CT, and reports to the Enterprise Applications organization.

This full-time position is based on-site at ASSA ABLOY Americas corporate headquarters in New Haven, CT, and reports to the Enterprise Applications organization.
What You Will Be Doing
- The JDE BA will develop and document standard operating procedures for the Distribution and manufacturing modules in JDE and participate in the implementation of these standards across various JDE project teams.
- Serve as a Functional BA and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in JDE implementation and support projects.
- Participate in the initiative to implement consistent standards for Distribution, manufacturing and Logistics in the Commercial Segment of JDE
- Collaborate with and support local resources and external consultants on specific project teams.
- Provide functional support for prototyping, development, and user testing.
- Analyze business requirements and develop specifications as needed. Maintain a strong understanding of the business processes supported by the JDE solution.
- Foster consensus and strong working relationships with Enterprise Applications teams and other business and IT teams, creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation and standards in JDE ERP software.
- Effectively communicate and take ownership of project progress and issues/risks to the Leadership Team.
- Four years of bachelor’s degree or graduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field required.
- Prior experience in delivering and speaking to successful projects.
- Proficiency in Business related functions – supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, etc.
- Be able to gather requirements from various users, write specifications which developers can utilize, evaluate results, and communicate changes to the users.
- Excellent influencing and people skills; client-driven and a collaborator.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a demanding environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities and meet deadlines; must perform in a high exposure, dynamic, and time-sensitive environment and be able to lead change.
- Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting, and communicating with users.
- Experience working in a collaborative, shared-services environment, across multiple divisions with a variety of operating environments, application software, tools, and technologies.
- Position requires travel, varying from 25-75% within the continental US, Canada, Central and South America.
- Must be available to work in US, Mexico, and other Latin America countries.
- Background and understanding of operational processes in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Has or will quickly acquire construction industry and product knowledge.
- Good English language skills, Spanish speaking skills highly desired
