Job Summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst who will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within the Pfister business segment. This position will partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights, develop financial models, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to communicate financial data effectively.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • (30%) Support the Sales Team by providing financial planning and analysis support. Projects include reviewing and financial modeling of pricing discounts, customer programming, and sales reporting. Individual will work closely with sales department to improve customer profitability and focus on driving the necessary culture and processes.
  • (10%) Maintain a strong control environment over the Price Change Request (PCR)\ Job Quote process and other program change requests.
  • (10%) Prepare and analyze Territory P&L and Bonus Tracker from multiple data sources and expense allocation methodology.
  • (10%) Collaborate closely with accounting and functional finance teams to ensure alignment on financial allocation methodologies and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
  • (15%) Investigate variances against historical performance and forecasts, identifying and highlighting key business drivers and trends. Perform in-depth monthly analysis of Business Area financial results and prepare comprehensive management presentations to inform strategic decision-making.
  • (10%) Provide actionable financial insights to assess risks and uncover opportunities, proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions to achieve financial commitments.
  • (10%) Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, analyze reserve balances, and month-end journal entries related to customer programming, bonus accrual, and sales commissions.
  • (5%) Prepare & present financial results to management using PowerPoint.

 

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial analyst role supporting a sales organization, preferably in the consumer products or building industry
  • Ability to build strong relationships and sense of urgency
  • Strong ability to communicate analysis and recommendations to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Ability to compile large amounts of data into useful information
  • Strong P&L and invoice experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS Power BI
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of business forecasting and financial modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Comprehensive understanding of P&L analysis, covering revenue, COGS, and operating margin.

Work Environment:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Hybrid work in office 3 days/week.

 

Pay Range: $86,031-$126,179.

This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
