Assistant Outreach Manager

Assedo Consulting provides planning and public outreach services for infrastructure projects in the planning, design, and construction phases of development.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Urban or Transportation Planning, or Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Administration, or English.
- 6 - 9 years of relevant project experience working in urban planning, community outreach or Master’s Degree in Community Planning, Journalism, Marketing or other related field (4 – 7 years of relevant project experience).
- Ability to independently lead project assignments.
- Strong teamwork skills and character.
- Commitment to community improvement, education, engagement and stewardship.
- Strong communications and problem-solving skills (written and verbal).
- Positive attitude and outlook.
Examples of typical job duties include:
- Working with Project Managers to provide oversight and guidance to Outreach Specialists/Planners.
- Assisting with the development outreach plans, strategies and schedules.
- Tracking monthly work tasks and providing reports to Project Managers.
- Coordinating with internal and external project teams.
- Managing meeting logistics (verifying meeting details and best options for the project.
- Reviewing project maps, presentation materials and visual aids for accuracy.
- Writing outreach and/or planning documents for projects.
- Developing project scope and budget documents.
We are conveniently located in the Baltimore region and Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
