Planner I/Outreach Specialist

Assedo Consulting provides planning and public outreach services for infrastructure projects in the planning, design, and construction phases of development.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Urban or Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Administration, or English;
- Ability to work on multiple projects for multiple project teams;
- Interest in community improvement, education, engagement and stewardship;
- Strong communications skills (written and verbal); and
- Positive attitude and outlook.
Examples of typical job duties include:
- Researching community and stakeholder information (including geographic locations and community and elected official/stakeholder positions on issues);
- Coordinating meeting logistics (identifying potential meeting sites, scheduling meeting details);
- Reviewing technical documents and developing draft messages to share with the public;
- Attending field and community meetings with the team and preparing meeting notes; and
- Updating project databases.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
