RFP Manager – Investor Relations

Location : Chicago, IL

  • 5 days in office

THE OPPORTUNITY :

  • 7 years of RFP writing experience in alternatives investment (institutional client experience preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of separately managed accounts, registered / private funds, and investment strategies
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills (writing samples required)
  • Experience managing RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs across multiple teams and deadlines
  • Ability to analyze investment data, including performance, attribution, and risk metrics
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Suite; experience with RocketDocs a plus

    • RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Oversee the RFP process – manage incoming requests, delegate tasks, review / edit content, ensure accuracy, and meet deadlines
  • Liaise with internal teams (Investments, Operations, Compliance, Legal, etc.) to gather accurate information
  • Ensure high-quality responses that strategically position the firm's products for institutional investors
  • Maintain and update the firm’s RFP database (RocketDocs)
  • Drive process improvements – monitor KPIs, implement efficiencies, and explore technology solutions
  • Potential for internal mobility within the organization
