Our client is on the hunt for a highly skilled RFP Manager to join their Investor Relations team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to service a global institutional client base invested across all public securities strategies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the team, assisting with business development efforts and interacting regularly with professionals from various departments including investment, finance, operations, compliance and legal.
What You'll Do
As an RFP Manager, your role will be multifaceted. You'll be responsible for managing the entire RFP process - from inception to completion. This includes completing responses to RFPs from prospects and consultants across various investment platforms. Your excellent organizational skills will be put to use as you delegate and coordinate the completion of RFIs and DDQs. You'll also manage incoming requests, ensuring that each project is completed accurately and submitted by the deadline. Your role will involve liaising with various teams within the company to develop responses. Additionally, you'll maintain the firm's internal database (RocketDocs), ensuring it contains updated and approved content.
The ideal candidate for the RFP Manager role brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. With over 7 years of RFP-writing experience in the alternatives investment industry, you have a strong understanding of separately managed account and registered/private fund investment strategies/products. Your excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills are matched by your project and people management abilities. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have an entrepreneurial approach to task management. A BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field would be a plus.

- Manage the questionnaire and RFP process from inception to completion
- Complete responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) from prospects and consultants across our investment platforms.
- Delegate and coordinate the completion of Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs)
- Manage the queue of incoming requests, delegate as appropriate, oversee the completion of the first draft of questionnaires/proposals including a thorough review
- Ensure final product has 100% accuracy in terms of content, grammar and formatting
- Liaise with members of Client Relationship Management, Product Management, Investments, Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal and Compliance to develop responses.
- Maintain the firm’s internal database (RocketDocs) and ensure it includes updated and approved content.
- Develop and manage internal project timelines to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Retrieve and analyze data to complete quantitative components of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs and ensure data provided is accurate and applicable.
