What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Owner position at Assigncorp?
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner with 6 Years of experience working in areas such product management, digital transformation, emerging technologies and/or relevant industries such as automotive, consulting, and technology.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with clients to understand the product storyboard and specs and translate them into product requirements.
• Lead the product journey from conception through launch, managing cross-functional teams
• Serve as a liaison between Business Stakeholders, End users and IT teams.
• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
• Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development teams.
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy.
• Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals.
• Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
• Serve as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the product.
• Create presentations and product reports for key stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS :
• 6 years of technical Product Management / Product Owner experience, ideally with Telematics / TSP Platforms
• 10 years of technical industry experience
• Industry knowledge (automotive, telematics, Infotainment system , Connected Car)
• Working knowledge of JIRA
• Experience in creating and managing dashboards and product backlog
• Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
• Data-driven mindset and comfort with ambiguity and bias for action
• Experience operating collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Understand technical documentation and communicate to business owners and users
