What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator position at Assignment Desk?
Assignment Desk, a video production company based in Charleston is looking to hire a new Production Coordinator to join our team.
We’re growing and need another great person who wants to grow with us. In this position you will help with all aspects of booking video shoots with major sports networks, news networks, corporate and entertainment clients throughout the country.
Did you watch the Super Bowl or NBA All Star Game this year? What about HGTV’s hit House Hunters? Yeah – those are the types of cool shoots our crews get to be a part of and we get to help coordinate them. We are lucky enough to get to do this and work in Charleston, SC at the same time.
Biggest thing we are looking for in a coordinator is attitude. If you have a hard working, detail oriented, team player attitude, we want you. We can train you to learn the rest. To start, we need someone willing to show up at the same time every day, working 9 am to 6 pm but we’re always available to our clients and crews. We want someone who understands the premise of working hard and playing hard while getting the chance to make some really cool TV.
This is a logistics and operations position in need of a personality that clients want to work with. This is NOT a creative gig , you won’t be editing, you won’t be on the ground for these shoots and you’ll be a part of a on call rotation. When working in TV things happen after hours, so being available and taking care of our cameraman and clients are #1.
