Job Summary:
Get ready to be part of a high-energy, fast-paced event! You’ll be on the frontlines of setting up and breaking down one of the most exciting events in the soccer world. From building, to unloading, to moving items, you’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly as we bring one of the biggest soccer events to Nashville!
Dates Needed:
June 2nd - June 28th - Deputy Venue Logistics Manager
June 11th - June 28th - Site Supervisor
Please apply ONLY if available 4-6 days/wk during these dates & able to work as a local!
Duties:
- Assist with load-in, load-out, event setup and breakdown— you'll help ensure everything is in place for the event to run without a hitch!
- Undertake strenuous manual labor and help with assembly, lifting boxes, and moving items (must be able to lift at least 40lb repeatedly)
- Operate manual and/or motorized handling equipment (like pallet jacks, dollies, etc.)
- Perform general maintenance and clean up
- Stay on your feet and be ready to move between indoor and outdoor spaces as needed.
- Stay energized and adaptable, following direction from the client and working efficiently to keep everything on track!
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Deputy Venue Logistics Manager will also:
- Supervise, coordinate, and organize activities of the crew members
- Assist in the development and implementation of logistics plans to support requirements at the stadium
- Oversee the check-in/check-out of supplies & equipment, and maintain inventory records
- Implement material management and protection procedures
- Previous logistics or event operations leadership experience in a major sporting events stadium is required
- DVLM must be bilingual in English and Spanish
The Site Supervisor will also:
- Supervise & direct all logistics personnel and ensure quality control alongside the Venue Logistics Managers
- Organize receiving and distribution activities including load-in and unloading vehicles
- Undertake strenuous, manual labor activities which include heavy lifting, as well as perform general maintenance and clean-up
- Previous management experience is required
- Site Supervisor must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Pay & Additional Compensation
$36/hr Deputy Venue Logistics Manager & $33/hr Site Supervisor
-Up to $50/day reimbursement for parking or rideshare is available
