Duties
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM programming software.
- Utilize SolidWorks for designing and modifying parts as needed.
- Operate CNC machines, ensuring precision in fabrication processes.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products using tools such as calipers to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot any issues related to CNC operations or tooling.
- Manage materials handling throughout the production process, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with factory safety standards.
- Assist in the setup and operation of stamping presses when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAM programming and MasterCam is essential.
- Familiarity with controls of CNC machinery is required.
- Strong understanding of materials handling techniques and quality control processes.
- Ability to fabricate components accurately while adhering to strict timelines.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
