Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in facilitating the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with employment labor laws. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ARLA) to ensure accurate candidate tracking.
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with HR team members on training development initiatives and change management processes.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects, including organization design efforts.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain employee files and records in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a human resources role at a Licensed Home Care agency is preferred, particularly in recruiting and administrative functions.
- Familiarity with ARLA and HHAEX systems and Home Care is a plus.
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Exell, HHAEX, Outlook is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills related to HR functions.
