What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assisted Living Building Maintenance position at Assisted Living Facility?
A long-term care facility in GA is seeking a Maintenance and Environmental Services coordinator to oversee the maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant. The qualified candidate will perform daily and routine preventative maintenance of the facility, as well as coordinate vendors to perform contracted services. In addition, this position is responsible for directing and supervising the housekeeping and laundry department.
This position is responsible for ensuring that both the common areas, resident apartments, and building and grounds are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner.
Qualified candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills with a customer service focus. Candidates must also be self-motivated and have the ability to work without supervision.
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Must be knowledgeable of maintenance and housekeeping operations, as well as of the regulatory requirements of assisted living and long term care facilities. Must possess a valid Driver’s License, preferably a Commercial Driver’s
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a maintenance position.
