The Business Office Manager will be responsible for managing the daily administrative, billing, accounting, and payroll functions. This role is critical in ensuring smooth billing processes, accurate payroll, and efficient HR practices.
Duties
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws
- Administer benefit programs and address employee inquires
- Handling collections on unpaid accounts
- Must be able to manage and oversee patient accounts
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, ensuring effective communication throughout process
- Generates and processes timely billing
- Review applications and make recommendations to department heads for interviews
- Facilitate the new hire orientation process, introducing them to company policies, team members, and culture
- Responsible for onboarding and completing initial orientation material
- Track claim status and resolve any denials or discrepancies
- Record and maintain accurate records of all payments received
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Minimum 3 years of business office experience
- Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Deadline and detailed oriented
- Must have Medicare and Medicaid billing experience
