What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Director position at Assisted Living?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- performing cleaning activities such as mopping, shampooing and other floor care duties
- performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks
- Install appliances and checking functionality of equipment. (i.e. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with other professionals during renovations
- Room reconditioning before and after resident move in/outs
- Maintain compliance with all local state and federal rules as they relate to preventative maintenance, fire safety and other facility maintenance issues

- Implement and maintain an organized preventative maintenance plan required documentation, HVAC/PTAC units, floor care.
- Perform minor carpentry and masonry repairs, electrical repairs, plumbing and heating system repairs etc....
Requirements :
- High school diploma & minimum 1 year of Full Time experience in maintenance related field (preferred)
- Demonstrated caring attitude towards those in needs of care
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to works with others in a positive way and finding solutions to challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
