What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician position at Associate's in Counseling and Child Guidance?
Associates in Counseling and Child Guidance has immediate openings for Behavioral Health Technicians in many areas of Crawford county. Daytime and evening hours available in Meadville and surrounding areas. Hours are available in the school, in the home, and in the community. Schedule is flexible, full and part time hours available.
The person in this position provides one-to-one mental health interventions in the home, school, or community to children and adolescents who have mental health diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face behavioral interventions
- Implement Individualized Treatment Plans
- Deliver and model treatment interventions
- Provide positive reinforcement to the clients and their families
- Utilize professional boundaries with all clients and families
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma. Two years of experience working with children is preferred but not required.
Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Background and FBI Clearances must be obtained.
