Millcreek Community Hospital, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is currently hiring multiple Full-Time Observation Tech's for our Behavioral Health Units.
REQUIRED:
- Under the supervision of a RN, provides close observation of patients.
- Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Is vigilant in the protection of the patient from self harm or falls.
- Maintains on-going observations of patients and documents this observation at least every five minutes.
- Verifies that each patient is breathing and not engaging in any harmful acts.
- Immediately alerts proximate staff of any attempt of self harm or emergency situation while intervening to prevent harmful occurrence
