Key Responsibilities
- MS Access Migration: Upgrade existing MS Access databases from 2016 32-bit to 2024 64-bit, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Automation & Integration: Develop complex SQL Server stored procedures and utilize SSIS to automate and integrate data workflows.
- Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain tables, queries, forms, reports, and switchboards in MS Access.
- VBA & Macros: Enhance and optimize existing VBA code and macros to improve automation and performance.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize database queries and storage for efficiency and scalability.
- User Support & Documentation: Provide training and technical support to end-users while maintaining thorough documentation.
- 5-7 years of experience in MS Access database development.
- Strong proficiency in VBA, SQL Server (stored procedures), and SSIS.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
