Assistant Superintendent Job Summary
Associated Construction Products is looking for a reliable Assistant Superintendent to help Project Superintendents plan construction projects and oversee their progress in a timely and cost-effective manner. Our ideal candidate is someone who will help us Grow People, Sales and Profit!
Primary responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Assist in management of construction projects from initial conception to completion (budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling)
- Deliver materials and fuel to jobsites
- Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations and direct construction from concept to completion
- Ensure quality construction standards and use of proper techniques
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Ensure construction sites have proper tools, equipment, materials and track inventory
- Review work progress daily to ensure contractual conditions and performance are being met/exceeding expectations and prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Track, document and process field change order reports
- Analyze and plan ahead to mitigate risk to prevent any possible issues and resolve outstanding or emerging ones
Qualifications and Skills
- Intermediate understanding of the retaining wall construction process
- Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Strong leader with ability to see the “bigger picture”
- Excellent time and project management skills, and must be self-motivated
- Adaptable to workflows, schedule priorities accordingly
- Ability and experience in use of skid steers and similar equipment
- Valid, state-issued driver's license and good driving record
- Professional manner and strong ethical code
- Reliable truck transportation (will be reimbursed with $1,000/month truck allowance)
- Must pass background check, drug test and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
