Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance, advanced Excel skills, and experience managing and reconciling large data sets. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciling expenses, and supporting decision-making processes with high-quality data insights.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and reconcile large financial data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness.Perform expense reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including general ledger account reconciliations.Develop and optimize financial reports using Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.Support audits by providing necessary data, reconciliations, and documentation.Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc financial analysis.Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.Required Skillset / Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial data analysis.Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX / MATCH, Power Query, macros preferred).Experience working with and analyzing large data sets.Strong understanding of financial reconciliation and general ledger principles.Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).CPA or equivalent accounting certification is a plus.Experience working with Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization / analysis tools is a plus.Background in multinational or publicly traded companies preferred but not required.Knowledge of multi-currency accounting and statutory filings is a plus.What We Offer :
