Full-time Description

As a Life & Health Insurance Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our life and health insurance operations. You will actively engage in sales, underwriting, and policy administration while providing exceptional service to our existing clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and gain valuable experience in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

• Support the sales team by assisting with quotes and presentations
• Organize and track opportunities through the sales cycle
• Review policy expiration and conversion opportunities to assist the sales team with identifying opportunities
• Assist with ad hoc new business projects, including data analysis and reporting, to support the growth and efficiency of the department
• Create reports detailing policy cash value and other details to help drive revenue growth
  
  

Policy Management and Administration

• Help manage and administer the client database
• Attach, enter, and renew data to confirm accurate records
• Lead the team in tracking late payments and notifying clients of any potential policy lapses
  
  

Client and Carrier Communication

• Contact carriers to request and confirm policy data
• Update policyholder information with both the carriers and the internal database
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in insurance, customer service, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively
